UBC Golf day

The UBC held it's inaugural golf day at Selborne Golf Club on 5th July 2013.

This is to become at least an annual and possibly a bi-annual event.

Sponsorships were received from local businesses as well as some from Durban and other areas. The aim of this event is to raise funds for the chamber for various projects that benefit local business. The UBC is a non-profit organisation and although we receive a grant from Umdoni Municiplatily, we rely heavily on fund raising events such as this one to generate the funds we need.

The golf day was well received and enjoyed immensely by all. Players and Sponsors had the opportunity to network with other businesses as well as advertise their own enterprises.

The venue will change each time and rotate among all the Golf Courses in the Umdoni area, making this event interesting and enjoyable as each course has its unique difficulty and beauty.

We hope to see you there next time!!
